RollingHomeStays was created by seed preservation farmers, Annie and Don. 

One November, a few years back, we took an impromptu three month trip, traveling across America in our 5th wheel RV, boondocking, or camping without hook-ups, as much as we possibly could. As farmers and agritourism hosts ourselves, we were curious about how other farms were running their agritourism destinations. So, as we traveled, we reached out to our fellow farmers along the way, seeking just a parking space and a way to support our farmhosts in return. 

We were very pleasantly surprised by the warm reception we received as we traveled. We enjoyed farm stores, meaderies, apple and peach orchards, olive groves, breweries and distilleries, fellow beekeepers, meat producers, fiber artists, and more! Wherever we went we offered a hand, or supported the farm by purchasing their products. Scarves for gifts, wine, handmade pastries and chocolates, prime cuts of meat, fresh poultry, fresh from the orchard fruit and ciders, crisp salad greens, and homegrown honey are just a few of the things we were able to buy from our hosts along the way. 

The experiences we gained from our travels were priceless! We learned so much from our wonderful hosts, and we wanted to provide RVers with a chance to have those same opportunities! 

As farmers, we know how hard it is to keep a farm going. Especially in today’s environment. We see RollingHomeStays as a way to benefit both our farming and our RVing communities. So, as farmers, RVers and entrepreneurs, we have designed RollingHomeStays with both of the communities we love in mind.
