In light of current events, I would like to explain to this community who we are at RollingHomeStays, what our vision is, and how we think it can potentially help many people in our two favorite communities, farmers and RVers, RIGHT NOW!

It is spring, and planting time for our fellow farmers who are being called upon to meet a unique demand. At the same time, due to the attempt to stop the spread of Coronavirus, mobility has been strictly limited, just as farms are in need of some help. 

RVers are uniquely mobile. And full time RVers depend on state and national parks, private RV parks, and BLM land. Many full time RVers are retirees, or families who no longer have a ‘sticks and bricks’ dwelling, and, as RV parks close, they are finding themselves with nowhere to go. 

This situation is exactly what our website, Rollinghomestays.com, was designed to deal with–farms in need of help, and RVers in need of a place to park their RV. 

At times like these, people come forward to offer their assistance to those in need. I have seen so many people say, “What can I do to help?” or “I can offer this!”

As farmers, ranchers, and agriculturalists of all kinds, we have rare and unique access to land, and to spaces that can accomodate large vehicles. RVers have myriad skills and talents and can help support a farm. 

And now, during this particularly challenging time, we at RollingHomeStays are prepared to help. Since RVers are boondockers, Hosts and Agritourists can still keep their safe distance, and hosts are not responsible for disinfecting rooms between guests, or serving meals, etc.

For the foreseeable future, membership to RollingHomeStays is completely free, at no obligation to you. We just want to help travelers find a safe place to park, and farmers to find an extra hand or extra support at a time when it’s needed.
